Owl Project at Manchester Museum

January 27, 2014

Manchester Museum is welcoming the Owl Project to take artistic residence 2014.

This video launches the Owl Project’s new residency, where the collective will be spending the next few months meeting our curators and looking through the collections to create a new work to exhibit in the Museum.

As a bit of background: the Owl Project are based in Manchester and are Simon Blackmore, Antony Hall and Steve Symons. They create beautiful objects which combine wood and electronics to make amazing digital sounds. For more information on the Owl project please visit their website here: The Owl Project.

Their new work will relate to understanding the environment and our theme of collecting trees. The residency is coordinated by art and science organisation Invisible Dust.
