Scientific Journeys to the Amazon talk, Thursday 6 Feb

February 4, 2014

As part of the programme of events for the reopening of the Museum’s Vivarium last October, we are delighted to be welcoming Professor Richard Preziosi to the Museum to talk about the joys and setbacks of establishing a biology research station in Amazonian Ecuador. ‘Scientific Journeys to the Amazon’ will begin at 6pm and is an opportunity to hear about University of Manchester Research work.

Book on 0161 275 2648 or museum@manchester.ac.uk, free.

Another of the Vivarium events was a Wildlife Photography course in January with wildlife photographer Chris Mattison. To see more images taken on this course, check out Manchester Museum’s Curator of Herpetology, Andrew Gray’s frog blog.
