Urban Naturalist: Birdsong, Feb 22 Feb, 2-4pm

At this time of year many of our resident birds will have started singing to establish their territories and attract a mate. Learn how to tell a Mistle Thrush from a Song Thrush by listening to their songs. Is that a Wren or Robin singing in your garden? The ability to recognise a bird by its song or call will add immensely to your enjoyment of our feathered friends. With Henry Mcghie, Head of Collections and Curator of Zoology, Manchester Museum and Steve Atkins, Greater Manchester Ecological Unit.
