Collection Bites – Beekeeping at Manchester Museum Wed 5 March 1

February 28, 2014

Collections Bites is our monthly insight into Museum objects.

Beekeeping at Manchester Museum is the theme for March

Manchester is buzzing: It seems bee hives are popping up in some unusual places in the city, as people all over the place are doing their best to keep the honey flowing and the bees alive. Join Sally and Sam, the Manchester Museum’s bee keepers and hear about their struggles to develop a colony on the roof and take a closer look at specimens in the collection.

Places are limited so please book a place by ringing 0161 275 2648 or emailing museum@manchester.ac.uk
