Science Uncovered: Manchester

European Researcher’s Night Presents:

Science Uncovered: Manchester

Manchester Museum

6pm – 10pm

Manchester is home to many amazing scientists and their ground breaking research. We’ve brought them together for an after-hours takeover. Come along for an evening of lightning talks, debates, researcher speed dating, music – and the Museum as you’ve never seen it before.

Activities will include research stations where you can meet scientists and researchers face to face and hear about their fascinating research; from meteorites to DNA and cells. You can even find out about animal mummies before our forthcoming exhibition opens in October.

Enjoy flash talks and workshops in our new space; The Study, and mingle with scientists at our speed dating event in the café. We’ll have music and performance as well, and museum staff on hand to offer insights into our collection.

Science Uncovered : Manchester is part of Science Uncovered at the National History Museum. Find out what they’ve got planned Natural History Museum website

This European Researcher’s Night is funded by the European Commission under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions. Delivered in partnership with the Natural History Museum.
